Alice
"Alice", Writer/Director Nick Willing’s take on the Lewis Carroll classics " Alice 's Adventures in Wonderland" and "Through the Looking-Glass"
28-year-old actress Caterina Scorsone plays Alice since Willing wants this version to follow the more adult and "fiercely independent" version of the character. Alice is a stranger in an outlandish city of twisted towers and casinos built out of playing cards, all under the rule of a deliciously devilish Queen who's not very happy about Alice 's arrival. Playing the Red Queen is Kathy Bates.
Other cast include Andrew Lee Potts as Mad Hatter, Harry Dean Stanton as Caterpillar, and Tim Curry as resistance leader Dodo.
This production has been nominated for 9 Gemini Awards.

Riverworld
It does end with a bang. Where it begins again pushes the limits of adventure and the need to satisfy a curiosity for what lies beyond life, and death.
When American war zone journalist Matt Ellman (Tahmoh Penikett, Battlestar Galactica) and his fiancée, Jessie Machalan (Laura Vandervoort, Smallville), are killed in an explosion, Matt awakens, separated from Jessie, on the banks of a river snaking endlessly across a mysterious new plane of existence. On Riverworld, everyone who has ever lived on Earth, ever soul throughout time, has been reborn along the banks of a seemingly endless river. Determined to locate Jessie, Matt aligns with Tomoe (Jeananne Goossen, Falcon Beach) , a 13th century female warrior, Allegra (Romina D’Ugo, Hairspray), a 15th century courtesan of shifting alliances, and American novelist and Riverboat captain Samuel Clemens (Mark Deklin, Justice), better known as Mark Twain. With a full crew of adventurers, they embark upriver to understand where they are, why they are here, and to what unknowable end the river winds.
“Charting a territory somewhere between Gulliver's Travels and The Lord of the Rings” (Time), Philip Jose Farmer’s Nebula Award-winning saga becomes a spectacular miniseries event—a feast for the eyes, the mind, and the heart of everyone who longs to explore the meaning of life, the mysteries of death, and everything that lies between.

Hard Ride To Hell
A lonely stretch of Texas desert highway leads a group of travelers on a one-way ride to hell—as pawns in an ancient battle between good and evil.
En route to South Padre Island in Texas, three couples, including Danny Bowman and his wife, Tessa—have set up camp for a relaxing night. But when Danny stumbles upon twelve devil worshippers, and witnesses the bloody sacrifice of six young women, the helpless victims find themselves held hostage under the light of the moon, far away from civilization, and subjected to a violent secret ceremony of their own. The Desolators, the killer gang in service to the master known only as Black Sombrero, claim to harbor connections to the dark side. Tonight, they’re going to prove it.
The first blood sacrifice in the woods was just the beginning of Black Sombrero’s plan. What he desires is a perfect host for the gestation of the anti-Christ. As he summons the demon into Tessa’s womb, rescuers arrive, giving Tessa, her husband, and their friends a last chance at escape. But they’re pursued into an even darker unknown—a desolate church inhabited by a strange young boy and a priest on a terrifyingly divine mission of his own. As the Desolators descend upon the sacred hostile, and as an uncontrollable fear grows inside Tessa, all hell is going to break loose.
A race with the devil is on in Hard Ride to Hell—and the bad guy is winning.

Tin Man
Winged robot monkey with razor-blade teeth, a shape-shifting dog, a cyber-punk sorceress, three-eyed dwarves, and killer crickets. Welcome to a land you never heard of once in a lullaby...
The once-beautiful Outer Zone has been zapped into a frigid and decaying wasteland. Here, in O.Z., one of its subjects, known only as Lavender Eyes, has been imprisoned. Her stunningly evil captor in black leather is Sorceress Azkadellia. The Woman is just part of the sorceress’s nefarious plot—to suck the souls out of her minions and harness the energy to jump the gap between her world and the “other side”—a place called Earth. But Azkadellia’s prescient wolverine servant, Lylo, warns his mistress of a vile presence that embodies goodness, an alarming glimmer of light and hope that could be her undoing. She is DG, a rebellious young woman from Omaha, imbued with wanderlust and visited upon in her dreams by none other than Lavender Eyes and the fellow slaves whose pleas of “save us” urge DG to follow her destiny.
DG does just that, right over a cliff into a swirling storm, face first in a debris-strewn land of double suns. Enlisting the help of three new friends—the zipper-headed half-brain Glitch, a tin cop named Cain, and the gentle manimal Raw—DG embarks on a journey of deliverance along a crumbling old road. Where it leads is into the decadence of the Twister Cabaret, the flamboyant shocks of the Realm of the Unwanted, the fetid horrors of the Black Swamp, and deep into the darkening heart of O.Z. and the mind of the Mystery Man who knows all. Here, DG will discover her role in the fate of a city, her startling connection to Lavender Eyes and to Azkadellia herself, who brings a gleefully sadistic, soul-sucking new meaning to the term “sibling rivalry.”
Spiked with the kind of off-the-wall creatures, voluptuous villains, acid twists, and hair-raising turns that Dorothy’s dreams never allowed before, this knockout update of The Wizard of Oz doesn’t just go over the rainbow. It goes way beyond.

White Crane Chronicles
To avenge the murder of his Wudang Grandmaster, White Crane, a Caucasian monk and spiritual master of the martial arts, infiltrates the Shanghai underground, where he forms an unusual bond with a New York lounge singer and her gangster boss. In this twisted den of crime, Crane must cross the line between true justice and cold-blooded revenge.
For centuries, it’s been the axis of the fighting arts-an ancient temple for a select group who want to wed the power of the mind to the might of the body. And for one monk, it’s the training ground for a life destined to test his limits as a man and as a warrior.
1929. China is in unrest, as the Republic falls prey to Warlords like Kahn Xin, who holds an entire province hostage to the opium trade-and destroys all who oppose him. Only the revered Wudang monks dare stand in Kahn’s way in order to protect the very soul of China. Among them is the Westerner, White Crane (Golden Globe nominee David Carradine, Kung Fu), a spiritual master of the martial arts and protector of the innocent. Revenge is not in Crane’s heart-until a mercenary army storms the temple and slaughters the beloved female Grandmaster Myling. Out of the ashes of the temple ruins, Crane rises-with vengeance in his heart.
Infiltrating the decadent Shanghai underworld, Crane comes upon Jane Marshall (Daryl Hannah, Kill Bill), a waylaid lounge singer from Brooklyn looking for her lost brother, Peter. She’s currently the star attraction at the Double Paradise Club, where club owner and trader Bingo Quo also has a personal score to settle with Kahn. But it’s Bingo’s dangerous professional ties to Kahn that draw both Crane and Jane deep into the Warlord’s lair. Now torn between the spiritual Wudang teaching and the cold-blooded life of an assassin, Crane is about the cross the fine line between justice and revenge.
From the awesome majesty of the Shaolin temples to the torrid neon nights of Shanghai’s underground, White Crane Chronicles delivers a thrilling and enlightening adventure in action and suspense.

Journey To The Center Of The Earth
After noted explorer Edward Dennison vanishes, a search party, headed by anthropologist Jonathan Brock, embarks on a mission to trace Dennison’s last known tracks through a secret passage in Alaska-a gateway to the very center of the Earth. What the team discovers is an underworld tribe of primitive warriors and prehistoric dangers unknown to civilization.
Take a step into the unknown with an intrepid team of explorers as they venture where no one has dared go before. But miles below the Earth’s surface is an endless chasm of living, breathing dangers that are out of this world.
Noted anthropologist Jonathan Brock (Golden Globe winner Rick Schroder, NYPD Blue) has accepted a risky but exciting proposition to lead an expedition financed by the wealthy Martha Dennison (Victoria Pratt, Day Break). She wants a team to find her missing husband, Edward (Golden Globe winner Peter Fonda, 3:10 to Yuma), who vanished four long years ago on an expedition of his own. But this is no ordinary mission. Jonathan, his journalist nephew, Abel (Steven Grayhm, Smallville), and Edward’s former partner, Sergei (Mike Dopud, Shooter), are joining Martha in retracing her husband’s last known tracks to a mysterious passage in Alaska, rumored to be the secret gateway to the very center of the Earth. Scaling granite cliffs, tumbling through perilous shafts and tunnels, and braving perilous walls of fire, their descent advances-straight down into a great unknown.
What Jonathan, Abel, Martha, and Sergei discover miles below the Earth’s surface is a vast world undergoing an evolutionary process unto itself. Prehistoric birds hover overhead, carnivorous megalodons cut through the underworld seas. The most astonishing sight of all is a primitive man-a painted warrior who leads the team to his tribe, and to the feet of the tribe’s enthroned idol. It is Edward, intoxicated by power as the new God of a primeval people. But for every god, there’s a devil. Here, in this otherworldly Eden, it’s the leader of a fearsome rival tribe that dooms the future of this civilization-as well as the desperate escape of the explorers who face a myriad of dangers as they fight for their lives to see the light of day.
Join the search in this dynamic new movie adaptation of Jules Verne’s thrilling adventure of science, suspense, and unparalleled exploration.
